These positions are focused on the Midwest, Gulf to the South, and Mid-Atlantic to the South areas and are remote for daily operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Position Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Utilizing authority to underwrite, price, and service larger middle market Workers&#8217; Compensation accounts while adhering to underwriting guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Establishing and maintaining broker relationships in the Midwest and beyond to produce opportunities to successfully quote and bind business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">We combine individual account underwriting skills with a highly automated backroom to provide a unique value proposition for higher-severity insureds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Assisting in the development and execution of business strategy necessary to drive submission flow and binding of profitable business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Working collaboratively with the home office, marketing and distribution, claims, loss control, premium audit, and legal to develop and maintain a profitable portfolio of unique insurance placements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Position Qualifications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">5+ years of experience underwriting Casualty insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Significant experience and expertise working with a broad array of program structures and pricing models<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Strong understanding of alternative program structures and techniques to sell all styles of programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Existing relationships with Midwest brokers handling construction, transportation, or other high-severity classes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Possess strong presentation, communication, and business development skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Motivated to successfully operate in a remote work culture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Driven, highly motivated, self-starter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Excellent marketing and sales skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px\">Willingness to travel up to 25%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Please click the link below to be redirected to the application.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs\/view\/3812241858\/?refId=xdbCvqesrSASwSc%2FHNXQeg%3D%3D&amp;trackingId=xdbCvqesrSASwSc%2FHNXQeg%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Careers Production Underwriter Position Description: Adroit General Agency is looking for key team members to support Production Underwriting.
