Marguerite Dixen, CEO & President
Marguerite Dixen is an accomplished insurance entrepreneur and executive with a track record of success in developing innovative underwriting solutions, recruiting and leading teams, and guiding organizations from start-up through to mature operation.
In 2010, Marguerite founded Third Coast Underwriters (3CU), a unique and highly respected workers’ compensation division of the AF Group that serves customers with complex operations and challenging exposures that require unique solutions. Under her leadership as president 3CU grew to $100 million in written premiums and $9 million in annual underwriting profits. From 2016 to 2019 Marguerite also launched and guided Fundamental Underwriters, a commercial transportation specialty insurer that grew to $32 million in 2 years. During this period, she was also the president of AF Global Capital, a London-based vehicle for international investments and expansion.
Marguerite’s previous industry leadership experience includes her work as a senior vice president at SeaBright Insurance, management of underwriting at the Argonaut Group, and as an associate vice president of national accounts for The Hartford. Her accomplishments as an entrepreneur and executive were recognized with the bestowal of Business Insurance magazine’s 2016 Woman to Watch award.
Bob Petrie, Strategic Advisor
Bob Petrie is the co-founder and CEO of Origami Risk, a leading risk, safety, and insurance Software as a Service (SaaS) technology firm.
Since its founding in 2009, a steadfast commitment to hiring industry-leading talent and delivering superior client service has resulted in the rapid growth of the Origami Risk client base. Revenue growth of 248% between 2015 to 2018 was recently recognized by inclusion in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in North America.
Bob’s prior executive experience includes serving as the head of global operations and client technology for Marsh Inc. and as a senior vice president at Johnson & Higgins. Over the course of his career, Bob has also guided other successful technology ventures including the Marsh risk technology subsidiary CS STARS, STARS Audit, Whereiwork.com, and BenefitSmart.com.
